Every year Limelight holds the Limelight Awards – the only awards in Australia where the music-loving public are invited to vote and help recognise well-loved musicans.

An expert panel has selected a shortlist of entries for 10 categories, including, Music Personality of the Year, Best Performance; Chamber, Orchestral or Solo and Best Newcomer.

In 2009, the Limelight Awards attracted more than 4,500+ votes.
